So I have neglected the site for far too long and I want to pick up on it…. yet again…. So here goes another round of starkfu’s life.

So I am starting up the hosting portion of Starkfu Group – Over the next few days there will be some site outages while I transport everything onto the new server. Look for some site changes as well as this blog will most likely move to gregstarke.com and starkfu.com will become solely dedicated to starkfu group.

As the great Jamiroquai once pined the above quote in an aptly titled song, there just isn’t enough fucking time to get everything done I need to….

In lieu of this, I have begun to re-evaluate my priorities in life and have decided to start uploading pics to the gallery. Please feel free to view them and keep in touch with changes in the future. I am switching over to my new 1080P laptop that has been sitting in my briefcase for the last few months…. it is amazing, maybe I will post pics later.

Long Story Short

Everything is on hold again, Claire and I need to finish up this semester (AKA semester from hell!) and regroup to move forward on some projects. My colleague at work has been sick so I have effectively taken over the operation for the time being. What do I do you may ask? Well in short I am an SAP Basis Consultant for the UW-Milwaukee campus. We host SAP to other universities that use it in the classrooms. There is a lot of curriculum that surrounds our operation and we need to keep our hardware and SAP installation up to snuff with the current curriculum.

I love the job, I get to do a little Sun Solaris admin, Windows Server 2k3 admin, SAP admin on nearly all products, and of course manage our hardware architecture.

I am near complete on having my own release of Zimbra mail server ready to go for customer use. I intend to imbed this into my hosting strategy. I am getting close to needing to expand into a dedicated hosting center at this point.

All other projects are currently on hold. I will update them and the site over the summer as we will both being going to school part time from here out.

Gallery – revisited

I have finally found the gallery script I want to use. I am an avid visitor of the F1 web site and absolutely love the gallery used there. I wanted to implement it and couldn’t figure out what they were using to serve the images. I finally found it. It is called lightbox. I intend on installing and using it as my next big priority on the site so that I can start uploading my images to the site.

Will update when I begin doing this.
