I created a little self-help tool for myself during my time in the Army that I dubbed “Grab the bull”. The chaplain I was speaking with at the time had actually told me that I needed to do just that. He then gave some suggestions and this tool was born.
The time has come again where I need to do it. I feel I have lost a lot of focus in my life. Between my hobbies, family, and need to exist, I have lost who it is that I am and what makes me tick. I need to revisit those things and re-evaluate what is and is not important to me. Then comes ranking them all in order of importance and formulating a business plan like road map of life. Identify 1 year, 5 year, and 10 year goals. The hardest part is sticking to it and remembering what is important. This will be the third installment of “grab the bull” for me.
I am hoping to start this tonight and finish it by the end of the week. I also hope to be able to complete my “reasons for grad study” paper this week as well.
